About Destini
My name is Destini Bishop-James and I am a graduate of both the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and Western Governors University. I have successfully obtained both my Master of Social Work (MSW) with a focus in Strategic Planning and Organizational Management and a Master of Business Administration (MBA), respectively with honors. I am also a certified financial social worker. I have the education and the training to bring quality financial coaching and literacy to individuals & communities that need them.
I am committed to educating all people of the importance of cultivating a healthy relationship with self. Coupled with the introduction of good, healthy financial information and practical application, my dream is to see my clients freed from financial trauma, triggers, and unhealthy emotional and mental states. Money (currency) is necessary to operate in this world, but we do not need to be controlled by it. When we free ourselves from money’s control with good information and healthy financial habits, we take back the power and choose the paths we would like to embark on to fulfill purpose in our lives.
